We have being doing one pot pasta for a long time, we meaning Greek people…
I remember that is how my father liked his Pasta. He was always hungry as all men are and that was so fast and delicious.
Now it is so much in demand and I decided to have my own take on the one pot Pasta.
With shrimp, and cooked clams, with a lemony taste that I love!
It takes no time at all and it is perfect for the very busy mom or dad!
Also if you are a student in a dorm this recipe is so perfect for you, and on the reasonable side.
Ok then, here it is
2 cups elbow pasta
1 onion sliced
2 cloves garlic sliced
2 cups chicken stock
I cup water
½ lemons the juice
Salt, pepper to taste
Fresh Basil leaves
8 shrimp and as many clams as you like
Here is how
In a pan add a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until sweaty, I do this step because I don’t like the uncooked feeling of the onion…Just a couple of minutes…
Place all the ingredients except the sea food in the pan and start the cooking process stirring the pasta.
2-3 minutes before pasta is done add the sea food and complete the meal..It will take no more than 15 minutes and you will have very delicious pasta. A meal that you will adopt because it’s FAST and delicious…
