Cauliflower is a very healthy vegetable, and we should have it often.
I am always on the lookout for recipes, but my mother’s recipe always comes to my rescue.
It’s easy and fast, 30 minutes and if you are a vegetarian you can have a delicious meal with this Cauliflower recipe.
For my family this recipe is a side and I serve it with pork chops, chicken and so much more, what I like especially with this recipe is that it even tastes better when it’s cold, or the next day…
When it’s time for BBQ I always have it available and my family loves it this way.
Children have a hard time with a large variety of vegetables, but I think if you try cooking Cauliflower with tomato sauce they might like it, keep your fingers crossed any way….
Here is the recipe
1 large head or 2 small ones of Cauliflower
2 large onions sliced
3 stalks of celery diced
2 cloves garlic
½ cup olive oil
1 cup crushed tomatoes
10 cherry tomatoes
Salt, pepper, dry oregano, and a ½ tsp sugar
A little hot sauce
3-4 cups Water for cooking
Here is how
Cut Cauliflower in big chunks and place in a large heavy pot
Add all the vegetables and the rest of the ingredients
Add the water and cook for 25-30 minutes.
Delicious.
